Farm Show...Here We Come!!!

We decided to brave the crowds and head to the Farm Show on Sunday...the food was just calling my name! Of course it was as crazy as ever, but we had fun nonetheless! After enoying sandwiches, french fries, baked potatoes, and milkshakes we headed to get the girls their animal masks that they really wanted. For some reason I didn't take a picture of that with our camera but there's one on Taegan's camera. Speaking of, we let the girls take their digital cameras and they had a blast taking all sorts of pictures! They had a long list of animals they wanted to see...and I think we saw them all! Here are some pictures of our experience:

There was a whole kids area where they could dig in corn, dress a scarecrow, etc. We could have spent alot of time there!

We headed to the arena to watch some of the events going on. The girls liked seeing all of the horses...and check out what grandpa bought for them:

Official "cowgirl" hats...they have become a new staple in their wardrobe:)

The girls were very impressed with the "Cinderella" carriage!

One of the highlights was getting to plant flowers! They even took their picture for us to put in the paper...be on the look out for that!

Petting Skip the horse was probably just about the best thing all day! Kaesyn gets so excited around animals and she was in her glory!

Finally, after a long day of fighting the crowds we headed home...we were there for 6 hours! I think we are farmed out until next year...

Terri, I am so excited to find your blog! Thanks for posting on mine! The other day at the farm show, we didn't get to the horses, and that is where Sam and Kacy really wanted to go! Kacy would have loved that carriage as well! She's also talking my ear off every day about "Flicka" and singing all kinds of songs about that horse! :-) Hope you're having a great day!
