Due to circumstances and all involved, I can't be totally open and honest with what is going on. But I can say that I am just going through some trials right now. I need the strength to persevere, and wisdom to handle whatever comes my way. Thanks girls! I appreciate it more than you know!!!Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-16876982811863688792009-04-02T06:33:00.000-07:002009-04-02T07:16:05.232-07:00Playing Catch-Up...again<div><div><div>Well, once again I find myself behind the 8-ball with my blog...so much to catch up on! Here are some highlights:<br /><div><div><div><div><div><div>Jaelyn turned 5! She's been begging to get her ears pierced for over a year now. I gotta say, I thought it might be a passing craze, so I would pinch her ears so she would know what it felt like. But she never changed her mind, so we took her on her birthday to get it done. She was such a trooper and didn't cry at all!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320089442108225858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTBKRoquUI/AAAAAAAAAv4/uZcKiA7iUU4/s320/IMG_0395.JPG" border="0" /></div></div>She wanted to have her party at Bounce U, which was a BLAST! After bouncing, we went to Friendly's for ice cream cake...it was such a great night!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320091773829220066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTDR_-RhuI/AAAAAAAAAwQ/dlhBxdtUi_w/s320/IMG_0445.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320091777231486402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTDSMpb_cI/AAAAAAAAAwY/bzfcfGh4_X4/s320/IMG_0530.JPG" border="0" /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320092404204327202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTD2sTaUSI/AAAAAAAAAwg/FqwEVkJth8Y/s320/IMG_0557.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p> </p><br /><br /><p>We also FINALLY painted the girls room! It took me forever to decide exactly what I wanted and what color...and on and on :) So, we picked a weekend and dedicated it to finishing it...and the girls LOVE it! <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320095531412391010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTGsuD6hGI/AAAAAAAAAwo/CFpm0oWLS-o/s320/IMG_0593.JPG" border="0" /></p></div></div><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320095536493589922" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTGtA_XdaI/AAAAAAAAAww/2g-0o_NxSuc/s320/IMG_0595.JPG" border="0" />We have since hung curtain panels on either side of the closet that can be easily closed by the girls. We used to have bifold doors and they were kind of heavy for the girls to move. I kind of thought the curtains would also help soften the room up a little bit since they only have one window.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320095548681419714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTGtuZK-8I/AAAAAAAAAw4/m7UdjrBoePM/s320/IMG_0600.JPG" border="0" />Lots of storage for lots of toys!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320095551138314258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SdTGt3i8OBI/AAAAAAAAAxA/LMdAwHl3xA0/s320/IMG_0601.JPG" border="0" />We are still working on getting stuff on the walls, and I am in search of a white mirror (i'm thinking round??) I did get 2 accent lamps to use with the pink lamp shades to put on either side of the dresser. We're gettin' there... :) I'm open to any fun suggestions...:)</p>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-31971072796496350792009-02-09T09:19:00.000-08:002009-02-09T09:24:48.882-08:00Happy Valentines Day...a little early:)<div><br /><br /><div>We took the kids to get their annual Valentines picture to hand out to family...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300848992489594274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 255px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SZBmEtVUXaI/AAAAAAAAAvY/VYE0Mnu8pis/s320/kids+1.jpg" border="0" /></div></div>and then we got one of just Zane:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300849211167847026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 275px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SZBmRb-RsnI/AAAAAAAAAvg/T1JUO2A0TrY/s320/Zane+1.jpg" border="0" /><br />All the girls got a Valentine pic of them dressed up as cupid and I was hoping to get one of Zane in the same get up (Jared was not at all thrilled about this)...but, lucky him, picture people no longer has the cupid get up so we settled for the "I Love You" heart:)Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-81109526114860539482009-01-08T10:41:00.000-08:002009-01-08T11:09:24.832-08:00The Cutest Pink Eyed Boy...<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWZKVPy18rI/AAAAAAAAAuo/T9W0v2DPwAc/s1600-h/DSC02116.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288996541270717106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWZKVPy18rI/AAAAAAAAAuo/T9W0v2DPwAc/s320/DSC02116.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Zane had his 6 month check up today...he weighs 14 lbs. 11.4 oz and is 25 1/4" long. Where has the time gone?!? Zane is now sitting up practically by himself, trying desperately to blow raspberries, and eating rice cereal! One thing I have not slacked on is taking his monthly block picture...so here's his 6 month:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288307604432908818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPXv2E4chI/AAAAAAAAAuA/p2NcDB_uMro/s320/DSC06897.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288307640200881010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPXx7UoY3I/AAAAAAAAAuI/tbXghloDlRw/s320/DSC06898.JPG" border="0" />And then after sitting so nicely...this is what any baby would do when you put blocks in front of them<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288307653129083410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPXyre9GhI/AAAAAAAAAuY/vsF6Sc-6-0o/s320/DSC06899.JPG" border="0" />And I couldn't resist this one...I LOVE Zane's eyes and I'm pretty convinced they will stay blue...my fingers are crossed anyway!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288307649439740946" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPXydvWNBI/AAAAAAAAAuQ/fmTtrZWA5qw/s320/DSC06905.JPG" border="0" />Happy Half Birthday sweet boy! Yes, I know...I've been totally absent from the blogging world...not on purpose but somehow, time just gets away from me! I had all these great posts in mind but putting them off for another day turned into another week which turned into another...well, you get the idea. But to quickly recap...our fall literally FLEW by I think! Once school started...it was onto Halloween...onto Thanksgiving...and then onto Christmas! Our Thanksgiving was spent in Missouri with family we hadn't seen in almost 2 years. It was a very looonnnnggg drive out there but we had so much fun once we were there. I would say I'd post pics but in reality, I prob won't get around to it:)<br /><br /><div><div><div><div>We had a great Christmas this year, all the kids were really into it. Some of the highlights were going to pick out our tree, making our traditional reindeer food (and of course the mess that goes along with it:)), Christmas jammies, and waking up at 4:30 a.m....yes that's right <strong>4:30 a.m.</strong> This year I FINALLY convinced Jared to sleep in and let the girls wake us up b/c we all know they are early risers anyway...and what do they do? It was fun anyway...we did stockings until Zane woke up and then did everything else. Here's some fun Christmas pics...and a few of my favorites:)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288304183654875330" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPUour2AMI/AAAAAAAAAtg/yvOlhTLOuCk/s320/DSC01981.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div></div><br /><p> In their jammies anxiousely awaiting "Santa"</p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288304191032684178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPUpKK2bpI/AAAAAAAAAto/x8nQHdgX3LQ/s320/DSC01993.JPG" border="0" /> We have no boy toys so Zane had to have this toolbox...which he LOVES!</p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288304192613756370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPUpQDzrdI/AAAAAAAAAtw/h1gGUYSV8oo/s320/DSC02061.JPG" border="0" />This is what getting up at 4:30 will do to you:) Side note, this was just minutes before Taegan promptly sat up and got sick all over my poor Mom, not fun...not fun at all!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288304202540742354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SWPUp1CldtI/AAAAAAAAAt4/DtAymJlV8SE/s320/DSC02063.JPG" border="0" /></p> I am now vowing that I will no longer go months without blogging...but I may need a nudge every now and then:) I do love to do it, and I think it will be beneficial in the long run when I go back to scrapbook...but ya know.......that whole time thing, gets me every time:)Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-41199614186488315182008-09-25T11:53:00.000-07:002008-09-25T11:56:16.646-07:00Zane's Bumbo Experience...<div>We recently got out the Bumbo seat for Zane...and after a few minutes in it, this is how we found him:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250034545864730290" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNvemoTL5rI/AAAAAAAAAkI/StfbjFBAJZU/s320/DSC06254.JPG" border="0" /></div>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-29161120403437748162008-09-25T09:50:00.000-07:002008-09-25T10:01:04.384-07:00Our Big Little Man<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNvDc6-HRLI/AAAAAAAAAkA/-tmitYVbVsY/s1600-h/DSC01452.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250004692263978162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNvDc6-HRLI/AAAAAAAAAkA/-tmitYVbVsY/s320/DSC01452.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Zane had his 2 month check-up today...he weighed in at 11 pounds 7.5 ounces and measured 23 1/4" long! Anyway, Kaesyn had a first yesterday...her first haircut! She did great! Joyce just trimmed it up a little bit...nothing major:) And as I'm posting this, I realize I didn't take an after picture, bummer...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250001418924730418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNvAeY1OKDI/AAAAAAAAAjw/sjbLeKdQ11g/s320/DSC01439.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250001428921505138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNvAe-Eo1XI/AAAAAAAAAj4/1QZf0YjIz4U/s320/DSC01443.JPG" border="0" /></p><p> </p>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-30187266760592195592008-09-25T09:15:00.000-07:002008-09-25T09:41:40.541-07:00Please Don't Feed Fingers to the Horses...<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNu7o_4JIiI/AAAAAAAAAjA/ZBfni5vt5ec/s1600-h/DSC06276.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249996103646519842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SNu7o_4JIiI/AAAAAAAAAjA/ZBfni5vt5ec/s320/DSC06276.JPG" border="0" /></a>...Always a good rule, but ESPECIALLY at The Land of Little Horses which is where we went on Sunday since the girls absolutely LOVE anything to do with horses. They had so much fun grooming and feeding the horses! They also got to take a pony ride, which was probably a highlight for each of them. The weather was gorgeous and we had a wonderful day having fun as a family! We must have looked very relaxed and at ease b/c someone even came up to us and told us that we made having four kids look easy! She was looking forward to the first day of school weeks before it got here! Every year I make a sign for the first day of school...Jared is a little embarassed by it, but I'm thinking I will want that picture for my scrapbooks! He jokingly said that the girls will be seniors and still carrying a sign...and who knows...maybe they will:)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5245211678607396578" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SMq8OzsfzuI/AAAAAAAAAhc/IzuDyIXprwY/s320/DSC06062.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p>Taegan and her friend, Lindsay, had on the exact same dress and headband for the first day. Anyway, we have been to the beach and are back now and it was an action packed, fun filled 4 days! We left on Sunday for Rehoboth Beach...after packing endless suitcases it seemed:) It's exhausting packing for 6 people! When we arrived on Sunday, we were happy to find that we could check right into our hotel (which was right on the boardwalk...super convenient!)...and then it was right out to the beach! The girls had a BLAST! Since I am not really a fan of sand UNLESS it's at the beach, the girls were in their glory. They were totally covered by the time we headed back up to the hotel! Here's some highlights:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237436705011930898" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8c7x_UFxI/AAAAAAAAAfY/cEhQ0xMHEwc/s320/DSC05858.JPG" border="0" /></span></div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3333ff;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237436708907387074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8c8AgECMI/AAAAAAAAAfg/BqTmaR2VDhM/s320/DSC05898.JPG" border="0" />After we were done on the beach, we headed out to the boardwalk. We did a little shopping, played a few games, and took in the beautiful scenery:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237437812695726002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8d8Qbtd7I/AAAAAAAAAfo/JOlwuiuZ5IU/s320/DSC00966.JPG" border="0" /></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3333ff;">On Monday, we headed to a place called Jungle Jim's. Jared took the girls on go-karts, we did the bumper boats, and played some mini golf. There was a water park there also, but we decided that since we all couldn't do anything, we weren't going to spend the money on it. But we will for sure be returning in future years!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237440233172918546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8gJJacYRI/AAAAAAAAAfw/iyvRb-fN0wE/s320/DSC01023.JPG" border="0" /><br /></span><p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3333ff;">(I have no idea who the people in the picture are)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237440236208722338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8gJUuPEaI/AAAAAAAAAf4/dp1_3KerVRE/s320/DSC01036.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237440243432091730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8gJvoa8FI/AAAAAAAAAgA/vBV8cJn4bXc/s320/DSC01061.JPG" border="0" />This was the ONLY ride Kaesyn enjoyed...she would not get on the go karts and she hated the bumper boats! But this lion, she loved:)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237440248740038114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SK8gKDZ7xeI/AAAAAAAAAgI/bavIegdYYP4/s320/DSC01094.JPG" border="0" /></span></p><p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3333ff;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3333ff;">Okay, hate to do this but we have to scoot out the door so I will have to finish blogging about the beach a little later! Let me preface this post by saying that we have been talking to the girls about asking Jesus into their hearts during our nightly reading of the Bible and prayer time. We have explained what it meant many times but they said they weren't ready. Okay, back to tonight. I was folding wash when Taegan came up to me and said she had been thinking about it and she was ready to ask Jesus into her heart! So we stopped everything, got the Bible, and sat down as a family. Then, Jaelyn said she wanted to also ask Jesus into her heart! We wanted to make sure they understood everything and then Jared prayed with them. It was soooo awesome to see our girls make such a life changing decision. <div> </div><div>Praying with Taegan:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234556617753236546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKThgo3aFEI/AAAAAAAAAew/Up_bAv2CYcA/s320/DSC00952.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><p>Praying with Jaelyn:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234556626707553938" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKThhKOSHpI/AAAAAAAAAe4/6JLTMBgt_EU/s320/DSC00953.JPG" border="0" /></p><p> </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234556636682411346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKThhvYeXVI/AAAAAAAAAfA/UyTPCxEqvjU/s320/DSC00956.JPG" border="0" /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234556644231305586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKThiLgRWXI/AAAAAAAAAfI/5gm4F1iJuc0/s320/DSC00957.JPG" border="0" />After the girls received Jesus into their hearts, they were so excited and wanted to call everyone to tell them! I hope they always have a passion to tell others about our amazing Lord! We are so proud of the decision our girls have made!Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-61936075385192391382008-08-14T18:31:00.000-07:002008-08-14T18:42:11.414-07:00Potty Training...I was not at all ready to start potty training Kaesyn, I actually didn't want to start until Zane was on a good schedule. However...Kaesyn had other plans. We are now in the beginning stages of potty training, and let me tell ya...that girl can sit FOREVER! She is doing really good though and I think she has been the most fun to potty train so far. She gets soo excited when she pees on the potty, it's hilarious!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234552576828094834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKTd1bPxuXI/AAAAAAAAAeg/E4g6XeOQci0/s320/DSC00945.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234552580260972082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SKTd1oCPRjI/AAAAAAAAAeo/7ql-ffH73Ug/s320/DSC00946.JPG" border="0" />So, although I was not ready for this...I guess it will be nice to only have to buy diapers for one instead of two!Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-48141799581521010252008-08-06T13:28:00.000-07:002008-08-06T13:37:07.285-07:00One Month...<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoK1XCd4DI/AAAAAAAAAeY/KZt1renuCTE/s1600-h/DSC05849.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231505828977958962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoK1XCd4DI/AAAAAAAAAeY/KZt1renuCTE/s320/DSC05849.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#cc0000;">I can't believe it...Zane is a month old already! For some reason, she has taken a liking to the hard floor. So last night I decided that every time I was up nursing Zane, I was going to take a picture of Kaesyn wherever she was sleeping at the time. SO for your viewing enjoyment...here's a look at Kaesyn and her sleeping locations:</span> <div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3366ff;">This is her new routine, she takes everything FROM her bed and puts it here, this was 9:00pm</span></div><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3366ff;"></span> </div><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#3366ff;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231499807974642962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoFW5DaVRI/AAAAAAAAAdg/ZS2lMjJTGHI/s320/DSC00868.JPG" border="0" />Now it's 11:00...she hasn't moved too much<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231499811211062034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoFXFHCKxI/AAAAAAAAAdo/HBVh-F45D6k/s320/DSC00869.JPG" border="0" />Okay, it's now 1:30 AM and YAY! she's in bed!!! (Notice, that she took everything BACK to bed with her)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231499819724220994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoFXk0uqkI/AAAAAAAAAdw/ycLUgsp3Kls/s320/DSC00870.JPG" border="0" />And now it's 4:30 AM...at first I couldn't even find her! I have no idea how this can even be comfortable!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231499825312009906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoFX5o9jrI/AAAAAAAAAd4/xLZcaLyC1ws/s320/DSC00871.JPG" border="0" />And this is how it goes EVERY NIGHT! Anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to stay IN BED?!?</span>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-44738127592275139282008-08-06T12:27:00.000-07:002008-08-06T12:56:29.067-07:00Dutch Wonderland Fun...<div align="center"><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#ff0000;">On Monday we once again braved Dutch Wonderland...this time with Zane! I kinda forgot how much more you need to take with an infant, we had bags everywhere...for those "just in case" moments. We rode rides, did the water park, and watched the diving show. I had fun riding rides with each of the girls, much more fun than just being a spectator!</span></div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#ff0000;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231492608658538354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJn-z1gsf3I/AAAAAAAAAco/K9wY2ePkVyw/s320/DSC00743.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231492612644786338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJn-0EXF0KI/AAAAAAAAAcw/LY4kJg02fc8/s320/DSC00755.JPG" border="0" /> Getting ready to get wet!!!!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231492616640838802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJn-0TP0vJI/AAAAAAAAAc4/wxkwz0dRddo/s320/DSC00756.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231492620551546994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJn-0h0NaHI/AAAAAAAAAdA/cFTraabEWkc/s320/DSC00759.JPG" border="0" /> All tuckered out...this happened the last time we were here too!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231494694327663538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoAtPO9u7I/AAAAAAAAAdI/-_joHM547KM/s320/DSC00770.JPG" border="0" />Keegan was hilarious, he'd put his arms up until they were whipped around the corner and then he'd grab the side of the car!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231494694663306690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoAtQe_PcI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/3BtaD_kDvP8/s320/DSC00813.JPG" border="0" />Getting to ride the Turtle Whirl, which she insisted on riding:)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231494702381952546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJoAttPQbiI/AAAAAAAAAdY/u1sP5QD-Uxw/s320/DSC00863.JPG" border="0" />And...this is what happened when we got home, everyone was exhausted but Zane! We were thrilled that Angie and Jackson Mohr were also there! And did I mention that Nancy Turk was there also with her kiddos (wink, wink, Nance)and although she didn't eat there, she did do the craft:) Where was everyone else?!? After enjoying our lunch, we headed across the street for crafts and the ever-popular face painting. Today the kids colored butterfly recipe card holders (which Nancy and I agreed would make cute picture holders also). </span></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;"></span></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229272521667489682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIbpw-zr5I/AAAAAAAAAb4/-2xboRcAYxU/s320/DSC00686.JPG" border="0" /></span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;"></span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;">Showing off the craft<br /></div></span><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;">Then it was time to get our faces painted...well, in our family, we get arms painted:) But Jaelyn surprised us today by actually wanting to get her face done...and here's the result:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229272537555324290" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIbqsKwzYI/AAAAAAAAAcI/UtiNrb_REOQ/s320/DSC00696.JPG" border="0" /></span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;">And Jackson decided to get his arm painted too:</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229272526663896834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIbqDmCzwI/AAAAAAAAAcA/kqMoKfG9Y2E/s320/DSC00689.JPG" border="0" /> Other pictures from our outing...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229274844199928850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIdw9FsRBI/AAAAAAAAAcQ/b-giFU6XIz4/s320/DSC00684.JPG" border="0" /></span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#663366;"> My 2 favorite guys:)<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229274856426405010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIdxqotfJI/AAAAAAAAAcY/VxOUGKpbqo0/s320/DSC00691.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229274871240712514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJIdyh0t4UI/AAAAAAAAAcg/KjMxOTlM768/s320/DSC00693.JPG" border="0" /></span>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-29265499138996070422008-07-30T05:35:00.000-07:002008-07-30T06:47:01.057-07:00The New Man in Town...<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJBuGQ5LYsI/AAAAAAAAAbo/Gz-2wIHn3Qc/s1600-h/DSC05824.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5228800221270205122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SJBuGQ5LYsI/AAAAAAAAAbo/Gz-2wIHn3Qc/s320/DSC05824.JPG" border="0" /></a><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"> I have a new man in my life...and he's totally stolen my heart! We are thoroughly enjoying our beautiful baby boy! I have learned to be very fast at diaper changes and although many have told me boys are "easier" to change than girls, I'm not buyin' it...at least not yet. There is just way too much to do all at one time! Here are a couple of the latest pics:<br /><p><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SH0ATKVo7qI/AAAAAAAAAaY/NE26oyQ_ZkM/s1600-h/DSC05722.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223331472012275362" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 275px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" height="320" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SH0ATKVo7qI/AAAAAAAAAaY/NE26oyQ_ZkM/s320/DSC05722.JPG" width="442" border="0" /></a><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223331479264012130" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_E6jjeIyGOJQ/SH0ATlWlp2I/AAAAAAAAAag/3y2k0AK4lG8/s320/DSC05729.JPG" border="0" /></p>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974574010188616677.post-36381295562101953092008-07-15T12:05:00.001-07:002008-07-15T12:43:07.175-07:00Playing Catch Up...<div align="justify"><br />Jared has been VERY helpful with stuff around the house...so I thought I'd take the time and do some catch up work on my blog, since I never did get around to it before Zane was born.<br /></div><p align="justify"><br /></p><div align="justify">Our month of June was pretty much consumed by getting the basement ready for the girls...but we did manage to get some "fun family time" in:) </div><p align="justify"><br /></p><div align="justify">We went to Dutch Wonderland with some friends of ours...unfortunately we picked THE hottest day of the whole month I think. We decided to keep it really simple this year since we had so much other stuff going on. We had a cookout with family and then headed up to Lake Tobias since Kaesyn LOVES animals. We absolutely LOVE going to Lake Tobias...it's a great place to take kids! (Oh, and Jena...if you are reading this...no fancy birthday cake this time:) My belly was a little too big and bending over a cake wasn't too appealing to me, so I took the easy way out and just did cupcakes). Every time a goat came up to get a cracker she said "HEY!" and pulled the cracker away. Finally, with a little coaxing, she gave up the crackers! Taegan found a goat that she really liked and called it "her buddy" and Jaelyn's favorite were the ponies. I opted to not do the bumpy safari ride, but the girls really enjoyed that too! It was a really fun day!</p><p></p>Terrihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03436919142756436575noreply@blogger.com1
